Nip/Tuck has gone under the knife.

F/X’s quirky plastic surgery drama Nip/Tuck has been cancelled after 100 episodes.

The critically-acclaimed show, starring Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon, debuted in 2003 and became a ratings hit.

The 100th episode — which wrapped shooting on June — was the series’ last.

“I feel we’ve reached a creative impasse with regards to what we can do with this story,” cast member John Hensley said, confirming the show’s departure.

“I just feel that we were a show that was very good and innovative at one point and we’ve gone the way of so many shows before us. Our moment has passed.”

Nip/Tuck’s final episodes will air in 2011.
