Nicole Richie is prepping for a return to the small screen with the pending debut of a new reality TV show based on her life as a rock n’ roll girlfriend and full-time mother.

Nicole welcomed daughter Harlow with Good Charlotte star Joel Madden last January.

The Hollywood socialite, who co-starred with former BFF Paris Hilton on television’s The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007, began pitching plans for a family-focused unscripted series to studio bosses earlier this month, a new tabloid report claims.

According to a scoop from Star Magazine, Joel, his rocker twin Benji, and Nicole dad, R&B staple Lionel Richie, have all signed on for regular spots on the show.

“Nicole wants the world to know what it’s like to be a working mom with a rock star boyfriend.”
