Paris Hilton may be on the prowl for a new BFF, but it appears her childhood bestie has already found one.

Nicole Richie is publicly praising pal Christina Aguilera, insisting the petite powerhouse is not only a musical force but also a fabolous wife and mother.

The former Simple Life star befriended Xtina when both women gave birth to their first children, Harlow and Max respectively, last January.

“Christina and I haven’t known each other long but we met through mutual friends. Because we had our babies at the same time – they were born one day apart – we’ve got to know each other,” Nicole says.

“She’s a great wife, great mom and great singer. She does it all. And I’m sure Max gets better lullabies than Harlow!”
