Nicole Richie has so many beautiful childhood memories of her late godfather, King of Pop Michael Jackson, the reformed wildchild plans to name her second child after him.

Nicole, 27, is expecting a baby with BF Joel Madden this fall, and Star Magazine snitches have learned that the couple has decided to call their new addition Michael or Michelle in honor of the pop icon.

“She wasn’t planning on naming the baby after him, but she thinks its fitting now that he’s gone,”
a friend reveals. “Joel is OK with the choices,” Star’s spy adds, “He was a big fan of Michael too.”

“Nicole is devastated by Michael’s death. She loved him, and it happened so suddenly.”
