Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were told that they are expecting a baby boy on a July 25th trip to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Nicole is excited; although she was hoping for a girl.

Nicole was asking a lot of questions about what they were going to need for the baby,” says Sharone Glaser, owner of Z Baby Clothing Boutique on New York City’s Upper East Side.

Nicole and Joel purchased a white onesie with gold fleur-de-lis with a matching hat and blanket, from which they plan to bring the baby home from the hospital.

Sharone gave the pair a white “I ♥ NY” bib.
