Nicole Richie was left red-faced earlier this week when her pooch cocked its leg up and peed on a designer dress during a shopping spree in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

“She was in La Cienega on Melrose Avenue when her dog decided to use a blue frock as a toilet. Needless to say the shop assistants were not very happy.”

The twenty-six year old, who had been shopping for a birthday gift for longtime love Joel Madden, eventually regained her composure and even managed to smirk as she was led away from the store.
