I totally agree with IMHO. Letterman was awkward from the start, which understandably made Nicole feel awkward. The audience even appeared to side with her laughing with her when she’d laugh at the awkwardness rather than laughing with him. She does sometimes interview poorly but this was more a case of the interviewer not respecting certain prewarned “no-go” Qs/topics. Nicole was just being funny. Any fan who know what she’s usually like would see that. She was funny. David as well as Jay Len always tease her in interviews and I think she tries to back at them. She’s a big star so they make it interesting.
It was quite funny.

Nicole cheia de botox não mostrava na estrevista suas verdadeiras feições. Letterman é mal educado porém Nicole estava muito perturbada e amedrontada e não soube conduzir de maneira sóbria as perguntas.

We were absolutely disgusted at the disrespect David Letterman showed to Nicole Kidman. It came across as a put down to Australia. We love America and have many American friends who are wonderful but have you ever read the book “The Ugly American”? He showed up in David Letterman in that interview. Nicole handle it very graciously.

David was strangely starstuck by Kidman at the ouset and couldnt work out how to recover – he fixated on her husband as a way of avoiding fawning and the combination of false starts eventually startled the horse (excuse the pun). Kidman tried valiantly to stay composed but Letterman never regained his balance, and eventually she too ran out of equilibirum. Stellar television!

i’m an american living downunder and i think nicole did a great job with david letterman. he was obviously gobsmacked by her beauty and she was clever and funny and handled herself well. i didn’t realize she had such a good sense of humor. good onya nic!

If I am not mistaken, it wasn’t so much that Nicole only wanted to talk about the movie, but rather that she didn’t want to talk about her husband Keith. She was more than happy to discuss other non-movie related topics like her daughter.

well, i dont know what to say! what did nicole do which was so wrong? i mean, david should learn how to take people and their career seriously!! he ’s rude most of the time on his interviews..i dont think his shows are as entertaining as it used to be!two thumbs down for david!! HUMPH!!!!
