Nickelodeon Executives Seek To Separate Network From Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears

While it has already been established that there will be no fifth season of Zoey 101, according to management spies at Nickelodeon, the network’s top officials are ”tearing their hair out” and trying to decide whether or not to broadcast the series’ already taped fourth season as scheduled in January in the wake of the Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy scandal. Zoey 101 is geared to an audience of girls ages nine to fourteen.
”Considering our whole focus is on wholesome kids and teens’ programming … girls getting pregnant out-of-wedlock at 16 is definitely NOT part of our culture,” says on Nick insider.
”This is tricky. To dump it would be an almost unimaginable expense … so that probably won’t happen. But [Nickelodeon execs are] going to try and find a way to separate themselves from Jamie Lynn as best they can.”
”Advertisers will not respond favorably to this, you can be sure.”
