David Archuleta will make his acting debut on an episode of Nickelodeon’s iCarly next Spring.

The American Idol Season 7 runner-up will play himself on the series about a group of high school students who run a video blog.

David will star in the episode titled “iRocked the Vote,” in which a contestant in singing competition earns a large number of votes after winning support in an iCarly webcast.

David will begin filming his iCarly guest spot on Thursday.
