Secret lovers Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez have pulled the plug on their clandestine romance, tabloid spies claim.

The boy bander and the Disney beauty, both 16, have been romantically linked since last August, despite repeated denials from both teens.

Star Magazine tattles blame Nick’s busy schedule as the cause of the split.

“He’s a hard boy to date. He’s very into his music, and any girl comes second. Selena would often miss Nick, and he just wouldn’t be there,” says an insider. “But they’re still friends. They’re both very mature. She won’t make a weird scene about it.”

Nick Jonas previously dated Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.
