A JoBro on Broadway! Has a nice ring to it, eh?
Nick Jonas, the youngest of the sib pop trio The Jonas Brothers, will join the cast of Broadways’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Jan. 24, show producers said Wednesday. The babyfaced crooner will succeed Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe and Gleek Darren Criss in the role of J. Pierrepont Finch. He’ll occupy the part through July 1. Radcliffe’s final performance is set for Jan. 1. Criss will assume the role in his Broadway debut for three weeks (between Jan. 3 and Jan. 22) until Jonas’ opening night.
For Nick, How to Succeed in Business marks a fifth appearance on the Great White Way. The singing sensation, who turns 19 on Sept. 16, was only six when he made his Broadway debut as Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun. He later appeared as Chip in Beauty and the Beast and Gavroche in Les Miserables. More recently, Nick co-starred with Harvey Fierstein and Marisa Jaret Winokur in a Hollywood Bowl production of Hairspray earlier this year.
