Nick Bollea, AKA Nick Hogan, was sentenced to eight months in a Florida jail on Friday after pleading no contest to charges of felony reckless driving.

The seventeen year-old son of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan was also given five years probation and 500 hours community service. The charges stem from a nearly fatal August 26, 2007 car crash that left Nick’s friend John Grazino III on life support. The former Marine now requires lifelong care.

Nick told the judge: “I’ll never, ever be able to tell John ’sorry’ enough times to make up for what happened on Aug. 26. I loved John to death. He was like my oldest brother and my best friend. I’m ready to take my punishment.”
