Former Backstreet Boys star, Nick Carter, is engaged.

“I had the ring in my pocket for two weeks,” Carter says of his engagement plans. I was like, ‘I don’t want it anymore!’ It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers.”

Carter planned a romantic boat trip in the Florida Keys to what he now calls “Engagement Island” where he proposed to his girlfriend, Lauren Kitt.

Carter went onto say, “She said, ‘Yes,’ and I’m, like, ‘I don’t know what to do. She said, ‘You’re supposed to put it on my finger.’ So I did. I was in shock.” The happy couple says they have no date in mind but they will take at look at Nick’s busy Backstreet Boys reunion schedule.
