Nicholas Prugo Suspected In Lindsay Lohan Audrina Patridge Burglaries
Police in Los Angeles arrested a local teenager in connection with burglaries at the homes of actress Lindsay Lohan and reality star Audrina Patridge earlier this year, LAPD Officer Sara Faden told The Associated Press Thursday.
Nicholas Prugo, 18, was taken into custody and charged with felony burglary this afternoon. He is being held on $20,000.
Audrina’s Hollywood home was burglarized on Oscar Night 2009, February 22. She posted surveillance footage of the alleged suspects on her blog several days later, but the crime remained unsolved — that is until Lindsay Lohan suffered a similar fate.
Early Sunday, Aug. 23, three burglars were captured by security cameras exiting Lohan’s empty rented Hollywood Hills mansion. The star was in her hometown of New York at the time of break-in, but the thieves allegedly swiped more than $100,000 of borrowed jewels from the home. A pair of burglars also attempted unsuccessfully to gain access to the home on May 12.
