If rich folks like Nicholas Cage, Wesley Snipes and others were to do the same thing, California would be in excellent shape. If every American who’s fed up with the shenanigans in Washington were to pay their federal taxes to their state, it would end the recession for most of the country. And those clueless morons in Washington would finally get the message: They work for us, not us for them.
