New York Jets release Tim Tebow

The New York Jets have released Tim Tebow.

After a 13-month stint with the Jets, Tebow will be forced to find another NFL home. Tebow was traded by Denver to the Jets in 2012. “We have a great deal of respect for Tim Tebow,” Jets head coach Rex Ryan said in a statement. “Unfortunately, things did not work out the way we all had hoped. Tim is an extremely hard worker, evident by the shape he came back in this offseason. We wish him the best moving forward.”

Tebow had reportedly already began his morning workout this morning at the Jets training facility, when he was summoned by the team’s GM and Head Coach and informed that his team status had changed.

Tebow posted on his Twitter account hours later, ” Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord will all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding….”

Do you think Tim will land with another NFL team?
