Little, Brown Young Readers, publishers of the Twilight book series, have released a new book cover for the collection’s second novel, featuring the stars of the smash hit film franchise inspired by the saga.

In New Moon, the second book in The Twilight Saga penned by Stephenie Meyer, Bella Swan is separated from her vampire lover, Edward Cullen, and embarks on a new friendship with Jacob Black on the La Push Reservation, where she encounters his friends, “The Wolf Pack.”

On the newly-released New Moon book cover, actor Taylor Lautner appears in character as Jacob Black, posing with his arms around series star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella in the Twilight movies. An image of the insanely-popular Robert Pattinson — best known as vampire Edward Cullen — lurks in the background.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens in theaters on November 20, 2009.
