New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Footage in TV Featurette!

It’s just about a month until the highly-anticipated release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens to a galaxy theater near you. And even though we’ve had trailers, TV spots, leaked photos, and an insane amount of toys (can’t get enough of that BB-8!), we still don’t know that much about what this movie is actually about. Thankfully, thanks to some new footage in the featurette below, we’re a little closer to piecing it all together.

In the U.S. footage, even more quick shots of Rey and Finn are revealed, with scenes of each of them piloting some kind of spacecraft, and running through the desert, and through what looks suspiciously like the Millennium Falcon with their beeping buddy, BB-8. Rey is even seen running after the rolling droid.

In the U.K. version, even MORE footage is revealed! Check it out:

In this edition, more footage is included of Han and Chewie boarding the Millennium Falcon, and some of the more familiar scenes we’ve memorized over the past few months, like the one of Rey and Finn running across Jakku, and the one in which Rey holds out a hand to help Finn to his feet.

The new footage comes courtesy of the Disney Channel, where this “On the Set” featurette aired. December 18th, hurry up already!
