David Spade is a dad. The comic actor welcomed the arrival of a baby girl with Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace in Missouri on August 26.

David and Jillian enjoyed a short-lived romance before going their separate ways earlier this year.

“David and Jillian have been in close contact throughout her pregnancy and he plans to go see the baby during his first break in filming ‘Rules of Engagement,’” David’s rep said in a statement to PEOPLE Magazine late Thursday.
