Nelson Mandela in Critical Condition in South African hospital
Nelson Mandela’s condition is now listed as critical, as the 94-year old former President, has been hospitalized.
Mandela who’s condition has rapidly worsened in the last 24 hours was updated by President Zuma. “The doctors are doing everything possible to get his condition to improve and are ensuring that Madiba is well-looked after and is comfortable. He is in good hands,” President Jacob Zuma said in a written statement.
Mandela has battled multiple lung infections over the years, dating back to his prison sentence her served on Robben Island. Mandela hasn’t appeared in public since 2010 at the World Cup, when Capetown hosted the games.
