The NBA playoffs have finally arrived after an incredible end to the regular season including a final night that saw multiple upsets and teams sneaking into the playoffs.

The top seeds have been decided in each conference for a while now, but aside from those and a couple of others, there was a lot of moving around that happened after last night’s results, particularly in the wildly competitive Western Conference.

The Pelicans were able to upset that Spurs, a result that sent them into the 8th and final spot while the Spurs slipped from a possible 2 seed all the way to the 6th seed. However, with how close the records are in the conference, seeds don’t seem to mean too much this year since it’s not as if the Mavericks are much better or worse of a match-up than the Clippers.

In the Eastern Conference, there has been a bit of a battle at the bottom of the pack, and the Brooklyn Nets ended up taking the 8th and final spot, pitting them up against the Atlanta Hawks who seem to be on fire, but anything can happen in the playoffs. The Pacers’ hopes at a run in the playoffs ended when they lost to the Grizzlies, despite seeing the return of Paul George recently.

The 2015 NBA Playoffs begin on Saturday, April 18th, tipping off in Toronto where the Raptors will host the Washington Wizards.
