Natasha Richardson Has “No Chance” Of Survival
Natasha Richardson remains in a New York hospital after suffering a devastating head injury in a skiing accident at Station Mont Tremblant near Montreal on Monday.
The 45-year-old Tony Award-winning actress’ condition is reportedly too critical for any hope of recovery, according to a family friend.
“There is no chance,” a family friend told PEOPLE on Tuesday night. “It is a fact that her heart is beating but she is brain dead.”
According to the family friend, doctors at NYC’s Lennox Hill Hospital have described Natasha’s condition as a “leakage of blood between the brain and skull.”
Natasha, a mother of two sons, has been married to Taken star Liam Neeson since 1994.
“It’s not official yet… but they basically will detach her.”
