A temper tantrum has cost Naomi Campbell her right to flight. The supermodel has earned a lifetime ban from British Airways last week’s spitting attack on an airline police office.

“Banning her will send out a worldwide signal that such behavior is totally unacceptable….”Her behaviour was absolutely shocking. She abused our staff and police.”

“All incidents of abusive or disruptive behaviour towards fellow passengers or staff are taken extremely seriously and will not be tolerated,” said a British Airways spokesman.

A spokeswoman for the thirty-seven year old catwalk maven hopes B.A will change their minds: “Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably.”

On the bright side, Virgin Atlantic says Naomi is still welcome to fly the friendly skies aboard their vessels: “Any decision regarding her future travel with us would depend on the outcome of any court proceedings.”
