My family and I are in support of Nadya Suleman. Congrats to anyone else supporting her also. I am a married mother of one 18 year old. I am not on welfare and neither is my husband. This is what I have to say: 1) Nadya is only human and we all make mistakes, what ever they may be. 2) This is still America the last time I checked and, Nadya has the right to choose whomever she wants to care for her children, it’s her decision..period. 3) How many celebs get paid big bucks for their babies pictures and keep the money? So why shouldn’t she get paid for her babies video? Bristol Palin is an unwed teenage mom who received 2 million dollars for her newborns picture and no one complained about that! Angelina Jolie drags her poor kids everywhere, they have no stability at all!! No one complains because she is rich. And she is not married!! Stop being such hypocrites!! 4) How many rich people have nannies for their kids that the nannies practially raise while the parents are off doing whatever they please? I don’t see Gloria Allred demanding that their kids get taken away… 4) How many reality shows are there in America? One more won’t matter.. give the woman her show! 5) Nadya hasn’t beat, starved, left the kids for dead, etc… CPS can only take the kids in cases of ABUSE or NEGLECT, which she has not done. 6) I’m from New York and I can’t even begin to tell you how many wealthy moms there are in NYC who do nothing while their non-english speaking nannies basically raise the mothers kids, while the moms play tennis, shop, blog, etc! Nadya has a name, it’s not OCTOMOM or anything it’s Nadya. This is America, as a woman and a mom, I’m apalled at suggestions to remove her uterus and other unmentionables. What affects Nadya will affect all women. How would you like it if someone accused you of having too many kids and removed your uterus or demanded that you give up your kids!! If you don’t like this woman or agree with her choices, then too bad. It’s her life, and her kids. Leave her alone, stop judging her, because only god can judge. She has gotten a better house, She is tring to become self-sufficient the best way she can. If that means getting money for interviews..so what!! She has her own nannies, the hospital is helping her, and her parents, and her friends. PEOPLE GROW UP AND STOP JUDGING THIS WOMAN!!!!!!

Oh…BS that the money isn’t for her! If she hadn’t had the kids in the first place, I as a taxpayer wouldn’t have to be paying for it now! Somebody’s got to pay – and why should it be me – it wasn’t my choice. She’s irresponsible and selfish. Those of you who want to support her or the babies – whatever – same thing – pay the $800,000 hospital bill first.

OK….love is not enough to provide for these children if it were I woulkd have no problem with Nadya. But…it takes money people to properly raise a child even in the most modest means. My grandmother had 12 kids but not all at once so there was a progression not bam all at once. The money she gets from SSI is for the kids but how much does it really go towards their support if no one is paying the mortgage or possibly other bills. It pays for her fertility treatment that ended with 8 more children who will now probably need more SSI money. She is delusional if she thinks this is God’s will. God allows us to make our own choices right or wrong. I hope and pray that these kids are taken care of and raised to be responsible, caring, hard working tax payers but with her as an example I fail to see where that influence will come from. Take it from me a woman who loves children who has helped raise my neices and nephews and step-sons but was not blessed with children of my own.

This woman is absolutely an idiot. No one should produce progeny that she cannot afford to properly care for, in my opinion. It sounds like she wants the gummint to provide for her brood. She should be ashamed to have given birth to so many children that will be wards of the state. Sure, she loves kids; so does my wife but we did not have children as we married in our 40s and I never had the burning desire for progeny. I love my step daughter but more? No as I cannot afford another child. 14 kids? Get real, libs!! Who will care for these children? You and I, the taxpayers. I wish no harm to the innocent but they did not have the option of saying no, I don’t wish to be born. They are, truly, God’s children and they deserve a life now, but who wishes a lifestyle for these children that a parent cannot provide and this one parent is phishing for the gummint or reality shows to provide? Prove me wrong. Put the brood up for adoption and cut the factory line, i.e., her womb. She is obviously not sane enough to care for all of these children. So she loves kids; I do too but 14? No way!

Ok… miracle? Really? Thats what you call 8 babies grown in a test tube? Not a miracle at all, just some doctor “playing god.”

Did nobody else notice that those procedures are very expensive? Or the fact that they hadn’t made a mortgage payment on their house in about 9 months before the birth?

This was a planned publicity event from the start. Thats the sad part.

You people who think these children should be adopted or put in foster care are deluding yourselves into thinking that the kids would be better off than having a mother who may be poor or overworked but has much love for them. Not only does Nadya love these kids, she wanted them. They were not mistakes. They should all be raised together with their mother, even if she is not in the most ideal situation. There is no foster parent or adopted parent that is going to take 8, let alone 14 children. The mother is still the best bet. It is my understanding that when Nadya was injured, she was working as a Nurse for adults. I think her nursing training gives her an advantage that many moms don’t have. My own mother had 12 children and I know some women are better at being a Mom than others. These Moms consider it their “occupation” and they are good at it. What about the Duggars; the husband and wife with the 18 children. They may not be the best parents, but I think they are doing pretty darn good. If those of us with 1 or a few children would be dedicated to these children, we wouldn’t have the problems we have in society now. So the number of kids is not necessarily the answer. In a couple of years when the octuplets are potty trained, can feed themselves and can walk and run, it will start becoming easier to care for them. The other kids will be older and can help more. That is how my mother did it and all of my siblings are quite responsible and are taxpaying members of society. Also, the SSI that her 2 or 3 kids are getting is for the kids, it is not for Nadya, so her getting a house and anything else does not take away from their checks. SSI is so she can get these kids extra help as they may need. Also, her Dad bought the house for his daughter and grandchildren. Angels in Waiting is a godsend.

I agree with Alexandria…I support Nadya 100%. The babies are already here she is trying. It is not like she does not love her children. The children who do not have a parent who loves or wants them should be the ones who are put up for adoption not these children. She LOVES these children. So maybe most of you all think that 14 children are too many…well guess what too late they are here. I say yes she needs support and she definatly has mine!!!!
