My Predictions For Kim Kardashian West’s New Website

Kim Kardashian West has been busy, but her long-rumored website is still infuriatingly dormant. It’s been months since Kim first announced that she was redesigning her website and including much more personal (if that’s even possible) content that will include exclusive, never-before-seen photographs, insanely cool makeup tutorials the likes of which Kim fans haven’t seen since circa 2009, and live-streaming RANTS by Kim herself that will definitely put haters in their places. Seriously, I have anxiety about this website launching, and I need to have it very, very soon.

But even though Kim has been teasing her website on her Twitter and Instagram nonstop for months, we still have not seen hide nor hair of it. There is still only a placeholder page on the website itself, a sleek black backdrop with a slim white font reading “KIM KARDASHIAN WEST / COMING SOON.” WHEN, KIM, WHEN? I’m jonesing over here.

Here are my fabulous predictions for the website when it finally does drop:

A BIG announcement

This cryptic tweet was sent on July 12th, 2015 in response to a fan’s question, “I wonder when we’re going to find out Kim’s surprise for us?” So we know that Kim has some kind of surprise in store for her fans. What could it be? It could be another “Master Class” aka a huge makeup tutorial party like the one she just threw. Heck, she could be taking her show on the road like a big music tour and hitting up towns in your area!

But the big announcement could also be something like an ultrasound photo or a new game. But methinks it’s something bigger. If she does go on tour, I want to be the first one in line to buy tickets.

Amazing professional photos arranged like a Tumblr page

It’s no secret that Kim is pretty much obsessed with her little half-sister Kylie’s Tumblr blog. There was a whole Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode centered around how much Kim likes to bite off Kylie’s style. Will Kim look to Kalifornia Klass for some design inspo? Maybe.

I think it’s safe to say that Kim’s exclusive photographs will be the main art of the website, that it will be edgy, sleek and dramatic. Kim does nothing halfway, and if her selfie book is any indication of her aesthetic, there will be no shortage of nudity and impeccable style.

Personal entries

Kim communicates with her fans mainly via Twitter and Instagram, on which she posts nearly identical content. Her Twitter entries suffer from the 140-character limit, however. So I think Kim’s musings and her thoughts will be included within the website, if only to give her an exclusive space to express herself. Kim has found fault with Twitter in the past, and even though Instagram is much more customizable, it’s so very like Kim to create her own social media space. Which brings me to…

An APP

She’s already got a game, and with most people browsing on mobile these days over desktop or laptop computer, I think it’s a fair assumption that her website will have to be mobile-friendly, if not an entirely new app. Think about it: that may be the reason why her launch is taking so long! There could even be a social aspect to it, in which you create a username and password and are able to interact with the content by commenting, sharing and liking. A catch-all platform for everything KIM. Sign me up.

Fun rants

Kim uses Twitter now to debunk rumors, respond to criticism and unleash her inner lioness. But again, those 140 characters don’t do her justice. She’s already hinted that she’s going to do live-streaming videos, and this new platform (hopefully available for free in the App Store) will be the perfect space for her to narrate her life and thoughts. In other words, “Can I live?!” but better. Something like this:

I can’t wait.
