MTV is developing a remake of the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which starred Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon, Variety reported Thursday.

The new film will use the original screenplay by Jim Sharman and Richard O’Brien.

“I’d like to see it shown a year from this coming Halloween, but that’s up to MTV,” says Lou Adler, who executive produced the original movie.
