MTV “The Hills” Season 4 Ratings Down

It seems America has fallen out of love with The Hills. Ratings for MTV’s faux “reality” series took a nosedive with the show’s fourth Season Premiere Monday night. Nielsen ratings for The Hills were down 9% in its key 12-to-34 demographic (2.1 million) and down 5% among total viewers (3.5 million) in comparision to the show’s third Season Premiere just a year ago.

No surprises here. I guess Lauren Conrad’s bitchy attitude in real life is catching up with the fake personal she tries to portray on The Hills. That’s the only reason we stopped watching it and by all the negative comments about how fake and mean Lauren Conrad can be in real life, clearly other viewers have come to the same conclusion. I guess Lauren Conrad thought she can continue to portray that fake nice image on The Hills, while being stuck up and mean off camera and the ratings were not going to change. Wrong! How you treat others in real life will affect your reality show ratings!
