I didn’t even realize they were paid for this. What’s really disgusting is there are actually people who watch this. That’s mind-boggling. Also that show with all the kids. 200 stations and that’s the best someone can find? Don’t think so.

I actually never watched the show online. I think the show is one of the most creative solutions for having no format to think of or lines to come up with. It’s brilliant. So, the one who owns the idea is the real smart one.
As of the cast. They were asked sometime to join the show. The accepted and probably didn’t know whether it would be a success or not. What strikes me most is that they actually are already rich. They don’t have any obstacles, struggles or real challenges to make me want to watch every show.

I was ill last week so watched a couple of episodes on MTV website. You must be very conscious about yourself and confident to let so many camera’s follow you around while you ‘really’ are living your life.

Brilliant, but would like to have this format for your latina’s moving to a big city with no dime but a job, school and wanting to really make a difference in life.

I think that celebrities in general make money by doing nothing but the people in general that works their *ss off and breaking every inch of their nails and sweating don’t make enough. It’ll take the hard-working people 100 years just to earn millions. I think it’s really pathetic and disgusting how celebrities earn their salary… :(

Stop bitching about it. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Also, if you were interesting or pretty enough, you might actually get paid that much on your own show.

To each their own, and guess what, it’s pretty interesting.

That is just the “base-salary”. The real money comes with merchandising etc.. So basically, the main character earns approx. 5 million per year. That should really disgust you.
