MTV Paris Hilton Documentary: “Paris, Not France”

MTV has purchased the rights to Paris, Not France, a documentary on the life of celebutante Paris Hilton, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
According to The Reporter: Paris, Not France reportedly portrays the heiress as “more thoughtful and self-aware” rather than a “ditzy party girl.”
(We’ll believe that when we see it.)
The documentary was directed by music-video director Adria Petty, and includes interviews with many of Paris’ family and friends.
The 78-minute documentary is set to air on the network this summer. In the meantime, the second season of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, a reality show in which contestants compete to be P.H.’s latest handbag, will premiere on MTV on June 2.
