MTV is casting for a reality show to cast the next leading lady of the Broadway smash “Legally Blonde.” A la NBC’s Summer 2006 series Grease: You’re The One That I Want, the MTV series will select the next young actress to portray ditzy legal eagle Elle Woods in the popular stage musical, according to Playbill.com. Tony Award nominee Laura Bell Bundy, who created the role, is leaving the show after an 11-month run.

A casting representative has confirmed to the New York Post that MTV will hold auditions in Orlando, Fla. on January 21st.

According to a casting notice in the Orlando Sentinel: MTV’s “Elle” must be an actress 18 years or older with strong acting, vocal and dancing skills.
