Celebrity Mentor will breeze onto MTV this Fall, the music television network announced on Monday. One in a series of new reality show from the station, Celebrity Mentor will pair eight music celebrity mentors with eight amateurs who will compete to become the ultimate pop star. Hopeful contestants will be able to post their videos online later this year, with the celebrities each selecting one contestant to coach. Viewers will whittle the group down to one champion over the course of an eight-week competition.
