“Most Memorable Moments In Television History” Primetime Emmy Awards 2008

Producers of the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards need your help in selecting the Most Memorable Moments in Television History.

There are presently forty moments-twenty dramatic, twenty comic— in the running for the Most
Influential.
“It’s a perfect opportunity both to celebrate the history of television and at the same time introduce new generations to some of the medium’s most important events,” Emmys executive producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement Monday.

A scene from Sex And The City is nominated for the Most Memorable Comedy Moment in Television History.
Fans can watch clips and vote for their favorite moments at ABC.com.
(I linked to the wrong site earlier. Sorry about that!)
The Top Five Most Popular clips in each category will be presented during the live broadcast of the Emmys on Sept. 21st, and the two winning moments will be revealed before the Outstanding Drama and Comedy Series winners are announced.

Without a doubt, Aaron Sorkin’s award winning,The West Wing, the end of season 2, Two Cathedrals. It is, by far, the best writing TV has seen in years. The authors invoke pathos and Martin Sheen gives perfect performance.
