Model Hair Fire Gets Diddy Banned From Manhattan Hotel
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn….
Let this be a lesson to ladies who proudly rock Hair Extensions, Lacefront Wigs, Big Hair, Jheri Curls (You know your Grandma is still wearing one…), and swear by Spritz and Hair Spray: Open Flames are not your friend.
Case in point: The mane of a naked music video vixen caught fire as she sat in a candlelit tub of bubbles at the Diddy-Dirty Money Album Release Party at posh Manhattan hotel London NYC on Tuesday night.
The lifestyle ambassador is “no longer” welcome at the establishment after New York City Fire Department officials were called to the penthouse of The London this week to assist the still-unidentified woman, who’s hair went up in flames in front of a star-studded crowd that included comedian/hype man Kevin Hart (aka “Oh shit! Did the camera catch that?!), rapper Fabolous, singer-heartthrob Trey Songz, producer and Mr. Alicia Keys Swizz Beatz, and even Miss USA Rima Fakih. Diddy told hotel managers he’d only invited 20 people to the 2,500-square-foot penthouse for an intimate soiree to celebrate the launch of his long-delayed new album Last Train to Paris, snoops tell The New York Post’s PageSix Column. Instead, what began as a gathering of friends, quickly swelled to nearly 200 people crammed on the 54th floor.
That’s a fire code violation — as is burning candles in a hotel! — and hotel management is furious, according to reports. Reps for the Bad Boy mogul wouldn’t comment on claims that Diddy has been banned from The London, simply saying:
“He invited a few friends to a listening session, which was Ustreamed live for his fans worldwide.”
No word on the model’s condition.
