Miss Panama 2009 Pageant Confucius Confusion (VIDEO)
Pageants are in the news again: A Panamian beauty queen is in the headlines again this week after she was unable to understand a simple quote from Chinese philosopher, Confucius.
Giosue Cozzarelli was competing in the Miss Panama 2009 pageant this month when she was asked to explain the following quote:
“Learning without thought is labor lost.”
That’s when Giosue got a little confused — once again proving that pretty girls are best when seen and not heard.
Good evening Panama! Confucius was one of whom invented confusion, and that’s why, eh. One of the most ancient, he was one of the Chinese. Japanese who were one of the most ancient.
