Miss J is a baby daddy! The adrongynous fashionisto–best known to fans of America’s Next Top Model as one of the industry’s leading catwalk trainers– made the bombshell announcement that he is a father while promoting his book Follow the Model on The Tyra Banks Show Tuesday.

Boris, age 7, is not biologically J’s child. Both he and his ex-boyfriend, Alex, were approached to help a woman get pregnant.

“A French lesbian had asked if we would be sperm donors,” he explained. “So we thought, ‘OK, you want me to do you?’ And she was like, ‘Oh, I’m not that talented.’ So I said, ‘OK fine.’ So we did a little test tube.”
