After tossing troubled star Lindsay Lohan out on her ear after a diva spat with America Ferrera earlier this year, producers of ABC’s Ugly Betty are rumored to be replacing the out-of-work actress with another terrible twenty-something, former O.C. star Mischa Barton.

We hear execs have been coaxing the British-born actress to sign up for a five-episode guest arc on the award-winning dramedy.

“Mischa’s career is at a standstill, so this might be great for her. It’s not a done deal yet, but talks continue.”
