Is Miley Cyrus losing her voice? A new tabloid report says that’s a real possibility. The Hannah Montana star has reportedly been diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule and the small bump, which is caused by continuous strain of her voice, could be the beginning of the end for Miley’s singing career.
According to Star Magazine “Miley’s voice started getting really horse in late August, and she was having troublee hittinghigh notes that she could hit before. Her concerned parents took her to a doctor, who diagnosed the beginning stages of the nodule. That’s obviously not good news, especially since she’s so young.”

Doctors have recommended Miley take three weeks of vocal rest. That means no singing, no humming, zip. MDs also suggested that she take vocal lessons to learn how to “properly warm her voice.”
Renee Grant-Williams, the Nashville singing voice who trained Miley before she became a household name, says the nodule has been a longtime coming.
“Even when Miley was 12, she had the speaking voice of a 30-year-old. She used to say, ‘My voice sounds like a dying German Shepherd when I hit the high notes.’”
She adds, “All that singing, it can be dangerous if she doesn’t take care of her voice.”
