Miley Cyrus “Twilight” Hater: “I Don’t Like Anything About It”
Miley Cyrus may be the most famous teenager on the Planet — but that doesn’t mean she’s enamored with the teen craze that is The Twilight Saga. Apparently, Twitter isn’t the only pop culture trend Disney’s Hannah Montana can’t be bothered with.

In an interview with Nikolina from Canton, Ohio’s Q92 earlier this week, the pop sensation revealed that she is — Brace Yourselves – a Twilight Hater. (Shudder…)
“Not into it,” Miley replied dryly when asked if she is as excited as every other 16-year-old girl in America over the showdown between Team Edward and Team Jacob in the latest Twilight film, New Moon. “I could care less. I’ve never seen it and nor will I ever,” she remarked.
Miley added, “People get… really into it….People always fall in love with the characters… It makes me kind of like, I don’t know. I’m not into it. I feel really lame because everyone is so excited and I’m like, ‘Don’t even talk about it.”
When asked why, Miley said she just can’t sick her teeth into the vampire-centric franchise.
“I don’t believe in it,” she said, comparing the fanaticism surrounding the hit series to that of cinema classics like Star Wars and Harry Potter. “I don’t like vampires,” she continued. “I don’t like any of the stuff. I don’t like the wolf that pops out on the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t like it. I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts, I don’t like anything about it.”

Lots of non-famous people hate Twilight for what it is, and while I am one of them and I also hold a dislike for Miley Cyrus, maybe you should consider that maybe she doesn’t like the hype or the idea of it either. Hell, I’m sure there are enough people in the world with enough bad taste to like both her and Twilight, so I’m sure she isn’t too worried about her fame being threatened.
