Miley Cyrus will reportedly produce and star in an untitled comedy set around a broken promise to God.

Oh, the irony.

Cyrus, 18, will play the lead role in the Paramount Pictures film, which is based on a screenplay by writers Sam Brown and Jack Angelo. The project will mark the former Disney sweetheart’s debut as a producer, along with her mother, Tish Cyrus, under the banner of their production company Hope Town Entertainment.

The Nashville native is also set to star as Demi Moore’s out-of-control teen daughter in LOL: Laughing Out Loud. That film, which will feature actress Marlo Thomas, will be released later this year.
