Miley Cyrus Stalker Charged with Trespassing and Resisting Arrest
Jason Luis Rivera — the scissors-wielding man arrested outside Miley Cyrus’ Los Angeles home on Saturday — has been charged with two counts of trespassing and one count of resisting arrest.
Rivera, 40, knocked on the door after scaling the fence of the 19-year-old star’s multi-million dollar property. By the time police arrived, he was hiding in the bushes of her garden lighting candles.
A local TV station filmed the incident as officers cornered him, threatening to use their Tasers and shouting:
“Step out the gate, step out the gate!”
Rivera insisted he knew Miley:
“I am friends with Miley Cyrus. I am. She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years.”
After handcuffing him, officers found a large pair of scissors in his pocket. He remains in custody on $1,000.
Miley was not at home at the time of the incident. But pals say TV’s Hannah Montana has no intention of unloading the posh property:
“She doesn’t plan on moving from her home and will not allow crazy people to ruin her life. When she is home, she has her own security team that she trusts and is confident they would protect her. She will not be affected by the incidents that have happened recently at her house. She is relieved that no one was injured and hurt but moving is not an option.”
