Miley’s never one to mince words. Now the former Hannah Montana starlet is raising eyebrows with her no-holds barred remarks about the Tuesday evening fatality of a Los Angeles paparazzo who was hit and killed while trailing Justin Bieber’s luxury sports car.
The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer lashed out at the unidentified paparazzo – who was struck by a vehicle as he was crossing a busy road after photographing the Canadian singer’s white Ferrari. Justin was not in the car at the time, after lending the whip to two friends for the evening. If you ask Miles, the guy should have known better.
In a series of updates to her Twitter page on Wednesday, Miley wrote:
- “Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in ’13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn’t Princess Di enough of a wake up call?!”
– “It is unfair for anyone to put this on to Justin’s conscious as well! This was bound to happen! Your mom teaches u when your a child not to play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices. (sic)”
Officials with the California Highway Patrol had stopped the sports car for a routine inspection when the photographer appeared. The pap was told twice the situation was unsafe and instructed to return to his car.
Earlier today Justin offered his prayers to the late photographer and his family.
“While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders and the photographers themselves.”
Do you think this roadside tragedy will bring about stronger paparazzi laws in California?
