Miley Cyrus has officially made her childhood nickname her legal moniker. The fifteen year old Hannah Montana, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, is now Miley Ray Cyrus.
Miley tells Entertainment Tonight that she was called “Smiley,” which transformed into “Miley,” by family and friends, so she wanted the now infamous name to be her legal one. She selected “Ray” as her middle name because she wanted the same one as her country singing pop, Billy Ray Cyrus.

woah! Personally, I think that Destiny Hope Cyrus is very lovely.
Miley Ray Cyrus has its’ charms, but nothing like Destiny Hope.

My daughter is a #1 Hannah Montanah/Miley Cyrus fan!!! In looking up to see if she really got into an accident, I keep seeing all these sex ads, etc. on pages associated with Hannah and that is so offensive! Miley - please keep your breasts covered and keep your innocence! Don’t turn into a Britney Spears!!!!

She can change her name to whatever she wants! She’s her own girl and totally cool. I don’t believe her name change is official yet, but that’s all right. She’s adding Ray to be like her dad and also Miley Ray is like Minnie Rae, who is a Discordian Saint. I don’t know if Miley Ray Cyrus is a Discordian Saint, but I know she’s a Discordian American Princess! We love you Hannah Montana!
