Miley Cyrus surprised fans by performing a couple of songs during an impromptu concert at a beachside seafood restaurant outside Savannah, Georgia on Monday.
Miley was grabbing a bite to eat in between shooting scenes for her upcoming movie The Last Song when she decided to treat patrons of StingRay’s Restaurant on Tybee Island to two songs on the restaurant’s patio, The Associated Press reports.
Backed by a local music duo, the 16-year-old star of Disney’s Hannah Montana sang a new song as well as Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s “It’s Your Love.”
“By the time she finished the first song, there must have been 50 little girls and their moms who came rushing up,” restaurant owner Ray Rogers tells The AP. He caught Miley’s surprise gig on video.
“She played those and then we got her out of here,” Rogers says. “We asked her, `What do you wanna do?’ and she said `I want to get out of here.’ So we walked her to a side entrance nobody knew about and got her in her car.”
