Miley Cyrus Denies Striking Man in Club Brawl
Did Miley Cyrus play a game of “Whoop Dat Trick” with a clubgoer’s face?
Well, that depends on who you ask…
Cyrus has responded to reports of a nightclub brawl involving her and her fiance Liam Hemsworth. The 19-year-old says the claim that she punched a man in the face is “completely false,” denying an earlier report that she is a suspect in a criminal battery case.
Early Sunday, a police report was filed with the Los Angeles Police Department by a man claiming to have been hit in the face by the pop star at a Hollywood hotspot over the weekend. Cyrus and Hemsworth spent Saturday partying at Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel. That’s whent the unidentified man claims he and a friend accidentally bumped into the Australian actor’s chair.
The incident set off an argument which escalated after the Hunger Games hunk jumped to his feet and squared off with him, prompting Miley to step between them and strike the man in the face as she pushed him away.
A witness told TMZ that they saw the argument, but they did not see Miley throw a punch. There were no visible injuries.
