Out of all the students in Miley’s school she was singled out and became the focus of all their bullying. She told Barbara Walters on the View that she ate lunch alone everyday for a year because the girls who bullied her convinced all the other kids not to sit with her. The girls often derided her and apparently called her some pretty nasty names which Miley did not want to say. She was depressed and miserable and like many kids who are bullied she kept it all inside and didn’t tell anyone. She was shoved into a locker, locked in the bathroom, and threatened
with bodily harm. This is when her parents finally found out and intervened.

Other kids who are bullied are not as fortunate as Miley, who said her break into stardom and “Hannah Montana” rescued her. In fact, her torment gave her the will and the energy to succeed – the fire in her eyes. She has said the girl she was when she was bullied will always be with her.
