Miley Cyrus Breaks Down During iHeart Music Festival Live Set
Miley Cyrus’ performance at Saturday’s iHeartRadio Music Festival started off with a bang, but ended in tears as the controversial pop star launched into a rendition of her current single, “Wrecking Ball.” After dabbing her tears, Cyrus told fans:
“I couldn’t have done it without all of you guys. It’s just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me what to do.”
She added that some of her most headline-making antics, including twerking Robin Thicke at last month’s Video Music Awards, has been “inspired by the music.”
Her set at the Las Vegas music festival included “We Can’t Stop,” “Party in the USA” and a new song called “Look at What They’ve Done to My Song” — which included lyrics like/”They think I’m half insane” and “I wish I could find a book to live in.” That track is featured on Miley’s newest album, Bangerz, set for release next month.
Last week brought the news that Miley, 20, and her longtime beau, actor Liam Hemsworth, had called off their engagement. No surprises there.
Apparently, Liam’s already moved on with a lusty Latina who is being described as “The Mexican Miley Cyrus.” The 23-year-old Hunger Games hunk was spotted smooching Eiza Gonzalez, 23, as they partied the night away with pals at Las Vegas’s VIP club Bungalow earlier this month.
Daughter of former model Glenda Reyna, Eiza rose to fame at the age of 16 playing the lead character on Mexican telenovela Lola…Once Upon A Time. She’s also released two studio albums and two Telenovela soundtracks; all of which makes Gonzalez a pretty big deal in her native Mexico.
Sounds like Liam has a type.
