Mickey Rourke’s Golden Globe-nominated performance in The Wrestler has the former sex symbol up for a role in the second installment of the Iron Man film franchise.

According to Variety, the resilient star is in talks to play a heavily tattooed Russian arms dealer in Iron Man 2, opening in theaters in May 2010.

The super-villain is reportedly likely to be one of Iron Man’s more popular comic book foes, the Crimson Dynamo.
