After nearly a year of quietly dating Michelle Williams and How I Met Your Mother star, Jason Segel, have called it quits.

The couple was spotted just two months ago on vacation in Cancun with mutual friend, Busy Phillips, and seemed happy and in love. Sources are saying that the couple had to call it quits due to the distance, Jason will remain in Hollywood as he continues to film his CBS comedy. Michelle and daughter Matilda, have continued to live in New York.

We doubt there will be an official statement…the pair are ultra-private but as we learn any details about the split we will let you know.
