Michelle Obama Wax Figure Madame Tussauds Washington March 2009
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington is adding the new First Lady to its exhibit.
A wax figure of Michelle Obama will be unveiled in March, museum officials said Wednesday. Upon completion, the statue will be placed next to President Obama’s likeness in a replica of the Oval Office.
Senior Sculptor Colin Jackson is presently working on a clay head mold of Mrs. Obama at Merlin Studios in London.
The clay molds are just one step in the up to six month-long figure creation process.
