First Lady Michelle Obama will cover the March 2009 issue of Vogue Magazine, USA TODAY revealed on Tuesday.

Celebrated celebrity shutterbug Annie Leibovitz photographed Mrs. Obama, who wore a magenta silk dress by inaugural gown designer Jason Wu, for the issue, which hits newsstands in New York and Los Angeles Feb. 17.

“First and foremost, I wear what I love,” the First Lady says in her Vogue cover story. “If I can have any impact, I want women to feel good about themselves and have fun with fashion.”

Jippers, when on earth have you ever heard Michelle Obama say that she hated white people? Where would you get that impression?
